Familial feelings from Philip Selway

A few hours ago Radiohead tweeted:

“Hello from @philipselway – if you’d like to download a free MP3 from my album, please visit www.philipselway.com Thank you x”

Indeed over on PhilipSelway.com is the first track from the Radiohead drummer’s debut solo album, Familial. The track is called “By Some Miracle”, is a delicate lullaby-like acoustic number. Listen below and download for free for the cost of an email address at Selway’s site. The full album comes out in August on Bella Union. The song is rather nice, though whether his efforts will be enough to dislodge “drummer from Radiohead” prefixes from his name remain to be seen.
