Prebuttal service

 Prebuttal service

A new offering from the Iraq Inquiry Coverage Rebuttal Service: the Iraq Inquiry Coverage Prebuttal Service. Up before Chilcot this afternoon is Carne Ross, a former Foreign Office official who didn’t agree with the war. He resigned from the Foreign Office. Eighteen months after the war.

The IICPS confidently predicts that, when he gives his evidence today, he will still be opposed to the war.

    Wow! This is earth-shattering news!

I also predict that his evidence will be extensively covered in the media.

Yes-it is being- and pretty damningly too.

Maybe you should rename it the Iraq Inquiry Coverage Rebuttal Service in association with King Canute.

This really is quite pathetic. JR is getting increasingly desperate in his one man crusade in support of Blair. I’m sure we can look forward to his comprehensive well reasoned rebuttal of the evidence presented by Carne Ross. Meanwhile, I’m quite regretting not seeing a similar prebuttal service applied to Blair, Campell etc..

Of course, as soon as they find those WMD in Iraq, then Rentoul’s professional reputation will be restored.

Well, Neil, we know they must be somewhere-all those great and trustworthy people never lie and can’t be wrong. They will be found one day-behind a karzy, in a battered Toyota Corolla, or under a heap of sand. In fact some “operatives” may even be “Blue-Petering” them together right now!
