Hear Sufjan Stevens’ new EP
Since Friday fans of expansive, ambitious indie pop have been salivating over the news that Sufjan Stevens was releasing a brand new EP, some five years after his Illinois masterwork.
It arrived that day on the bandcamp website, where you can download the eight track, 60 minute long EP for $5, and today it lands on all the other big digital platforms too. A physical release will follow from Asthmatic Kitty Records at a later date.
The EP is built around two versions of the title-song “All Delighted People”, kicking off with an epic, eleven minute take on the track, full of choirs and brass and intricate instrumentation. A normal day at the office, then, for Sufjan.
You can stream the whole thing below or head over to sufjanstevens.bandcamp.com to find out more.
