First listen: Gold Panda’s ‘Lucky Shiner’
A few weeks back we were treated to the stunning “Snow & Taxis” from much touted UK producer Gold Panda’s debut LP Lucky Shiner. Now the whole record is being streamed ahead of its release on 12 October. First listens suggest the somewhat mysterious producer has delivered on the early promise of “Snow & Taxis” and last year’s EPs, with an album teeming with shimmering techno and ghostly digital sounds.
Listen to it below and over on LuckyShiner.com you can pick up a free download of another track (“Same Dream China”) from the album. Go here for a brief interview I did with the man last year.
