Caught & Social: Keira’s a class act

To New York for a famous actress sandwich. Jennifer Aniston and Nicole Kidman were the bread, Brooklyn Decker the filling and the forced smiles the secret ingredient at the premiere ofJust Go With It. We’ve just lost our appetite.
Keira Knightley, surely one of the nation’s busiest actresses, is back on the stage in Children’s Hour at the Comedy Theatre in London. The play, which opened last night, tells the story of two women who run a girls’ boarding school, who become faced with false accusations from a pupil. Knightley stars alongside Tobias Menzies, right, and Elizabeth Moss, best known as Peggy Olson in Mad Men. Before the show Knightley compared acting on stage to “sex with an orgasm”, they’ll be hoping ticket sales are similarly orgasmic.
OMG Celebrity news
Jude Law has a new job to help him get over his split from Sienna Miller, the chance to present an award at the Oscars… Also splitting are Fall Out Boy rockstar Pete Wentz and wife and mother of his child, Ashlee Simpson. Apparently they “grew apart”, whatever that means. Maybe they could take some tips from Ozzy Osbourne. The rocker revealed that he and wife Sharon have sex five times a week. All together now, uuurrgh. Finally, urgh or not? You decide: Victoria Beckham is apparently in talks to pose naked for the cover of US Vogue…
Scene & Heard
Lindsay Lohan is back in the US law enforcement community’s bad books. The actress, below, has been charged with felony grand theft after being accused of stealing a necklace worth $2,500 from a shop in California. She was due to appear in court last night and if found guilty could be back in prison (remember, she’s been in a couple of times before) for up to a year. Also in court in LA (a different one, we checked), is Mel Gibson’s estranged wife Oksana Grigorieva. The musician (apparently that’s what she does) is involved in a legal fight for custody of their daughter Lucia, one. It looks like it’s all going to end in tears. Coming out smelling like nice smelling flowers meanwhile is Charlie Sheen. The actor, who was sent to rehab after one big night out too many, is still a hit with the fans, with his his hit show Two and A Half Men staying at the top of the ratings chart. And in a poll of his fans, 26 per cent said they view him more favourably after recent news of his drug and prostitute excesses.
