Qs to Which the A is 0 Bumper Edition
I’ve lost count because Francis Fukuyama’s 1989 entry may mean I have to go back and renumber them all. But a few more Questions to Which the Answer is No while the committee meets in emergency session:
Number 526, asked by Jon Craig at Sky:
Remember Tony Blair’s headlong dash to invade Iraq in 2003 without a second United Nations resolution?
Those of us who were there remember the long build-up to military action from the previous spring, and the long diplomatic negotiations, first to secure a “final opportunity” resolution at the UN, and then the unsuccessful attempt to secure a so-called “second” resolution explicitly re-authorising the use of force. No dash. Nothing headlong. Merely a sustained determination to confront a threat with which many people, especially in retrospect, disagree.
Number 525, asked by Labour Uncut on behalf of the Telegraph:
Did Gordon Brown snub Steve Jobs?
Number 524, asked by Mark Ferguson at Labour List:
Is Labour winning the battle for News International’s affection?
