A ‘ghost mix’ from Ghostpoet
UK MC Ghostpoet has picked up some nice notices for his impressive debut LP Peanut Butter Blues & Melancholy Jam, released in February on Giles Peterson’s Brownswood label. It’s a record full of understated electro beats marrying nicely with the MC’s low-key rapping, bearing the good influence of Roots Manuva and Tricky among others.
Not content with a brand new album this month, Ghostpoet has also put together a new mixtape – the latest in his series of free mixes, entitled “Ghost Tapes” – featuring among other things, a collaboration with Mike Skinner.
