Must watch: Ajax drop trophy from bus

You would think that Ajax goalkeeper Maarten Stekelenburg would be a safe pair of hands, yet he somehow managed to drop the Eredivisie trophy from on top of a bus during a triumphant ride through Amsterdam.

It follows hot on the heels of another trophy dropping incident in which Real Madrid’s Sergio Ramos let go of the Spanish Cup before it was crushed under the wheels of the victory parade coach.

Ajax will be relieved that the Eredivisie trophy appears to be made of sterner stuff than the Spanish Cup and was quickly returned intact by a jubilant fan.
