Caught & Social: Rihanna parades a new outfit

Rihanna looked like it was just another day at the office as she dressed upfor the Kadooment Day Parade in her native Barbados. In a recent interview with Glamour magazine in the United States, the singer explained that she treated choosing her wardrobe as “a challenge”. She added: “Getting dressed, I want to pick the most bizarre pair of shorts so I can figure out how to make it look right, or work an outfit that will make people go, ‘What the hell is she wearing?’

Shadow of the devil’s double

Dominic Cooper had his own double at the premiere of The Devil’s Double in London last night, as the man he plays on screen was also in town for the event. Latif Yahia claims to have been the body double for Uday, son of the former Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein (although his claims have been questioned by some). The film is based on his autobiography. The British actor Cooper is also said to be favourite for another dark role, that of John Gotti Jnr in Gotti: In the Shadow of My Father.

  Seriously… does this blog and writer know anything about Kadooment Day in Barbados and the costumes WE ALL WEAR on the road. Ri is wearing a costume associated to the Baje Kadooment Band. In each band there are sections, each with its own costume design… please go and research before you try to scandalise people…educate yourself and become a responsible “journalist”!

  Wow… Luke… everyone in a kadooment band wears a costume. Rihanna’s costume is not unique, it is the costume of the band Baje International. Everyone in a band wears one… there are designs for men and for women. Go and do some research before you try to scandalise people, but then again you might be trying to get a job at Fox “News”…
