Justin Timberlake arrived with co-star Amanda Seyfried for the UK premiere of his new science fiction thriller In Time at The Curzon Mayfair last night. It seems the versatile Timberlake has plenty to keep himself occupied with during his visit to Blighty, after reportedly volunteering to personally find single pal George Michael a new boyfriend. Timberlake, meanwhile, recently let slip that he has more than a passing interest in another national treasure – our very own Pippa Middleton. Watch this space!

During James Corden’s appearance on Piers Morgan’s Life Stories at the weekend, the presenter claimed his former comedy co-star Mathew Horne had refused to contribute to the show. While this surprised a clearly emotional Corden in the studio, a spokesman for Horne now challenges Morgan’s version of events, stating: “Mathew did not refuse to go on Piers Morgan’s James Corden show – he was not available during their recording period. There is a huge difference.”

Should Mickey Rourke accept an offer to reprise his role in a planned sequel to the hit 2005 crime thriller Sin City, he’s unlikely to repeat one mistake. Recalling the heavy-make up required for the part of Marv, he points out: “ You have to keep it on for about 13 or 14 hours a day. It’s latex and glue and that stuff that gets my eyes all red. I remember I picked up some chick at a bar in Texas one night and invited her to the set to have lunch. I couldn’t take the s*** off. I never saw her again!”

Ugly Betty star America Ferrera is discarding her TV alter-ego’s trademark braces for a decidedly raunchier look, after confirmation she is to star as Chicago’s Roxie Hart in the West End. During yesterday’s announcement, Ferrera – who is currently in rehearsals – declared modestly that she had chosen to take the role to confront her fears about performing.

This pair are no ordinary ninjas – they are, in fact, recently engaged couple Elizabeth Hurley and Shane Warne getting into the Halloween spirit yesterday. The couple, currently in Melbourne, published the tongue-incheek snap for fans on Twitter. It proved to be a family affair, with Hurley’s son Damian, nine, along with Warne’s boy Jackson, 12, and eldest daughter Brooke, 14, also going for the same masked look, as they went Trick or Treating in the Melbourne suburb of Brighton. Shane announced their chosen theme was Everybody’s Kung Fu Fighting.
