Something For The Weekend in London: April 20-22
In the mood for great flicks? Two acclaimed documentaries swing into town this weekend; the first explores the life and times of the reggae legend Bob Marley, and with the London marathon taking place on Sunday, the other is a timely insight into the lives of aspiring athletes from Bekoji, Ethiopia, home to some of the world’s best long distant runners. Elsewhere in the capital, there’s a new exhibition honouring the golden age of cinema, a special visit from one of the godfathers of dub music, an alternative fashion week and a curious venue for Sunday lunch in Islington. Sounds like a lovely weekend, if we say so ourselves…
