Shakespeare and (Other) Politics at Edinburgh
If you are going to the Edinburgh Festival or Fringe next month, I have two recommendations for you. One is a 45-minute version of Richard III by some really talented young actors.
The production is superb, intense and demented, with Ali Wilson-Goldsmith in the title role (pictured). Details here. It is on every day, 6-11 August, at 4:10pm.

My second recommendation is something completely different: my esteemed colleague Steve Richards’s Rock N Roll Politics one-man show. He is a brilliant mimic, anecdotalist and analyst, carrying lightly the accumulated wisdom of having spoken to the people at the top of British politics for over 20 years.
He is on most days, 2-26 August, at 12:30.
