With over 200 nations getting ready to represent at next week’s London Olympics we couldn’t help but run with an international theme for this weekend’s exploits. So enjoy a culinary globe trot in East London courtesy of an American fried-chicken master and an international food fest, check out some the nation’s Olympic contenders in a brand new exhibition, marvel at the work of an acclaimed Korean artist at the Tate, or see poet Inua Ellams’s newest show, part of the African Utopia series on Sunday.

They say: The Tanks will showcase a new installation by Sung Hwan Kim, one of the key artists of his generation working in an interdisciplinary way with video and performance art. In his work, the artist takes on the role of director, editor, performer, composer, narrator and poet, collecting and collaging encounters, sounds, sculptures and images from his changing homes of Seoul, Amsterdam and New York.
