Five homes with treehouses
JK Rowling has recently received planning permission to build two – rather impressive – treehouses on stilts in the garden of her home in Edinburgh for her two young children. Each turreted treehouse will be two-storeys and include bay windows, fireman’s pole, spiral staircase and will be linked by a rope bridge. They will be built by treehouse specialist Blue Forest.
zoopla.co.uk has put together a list of five properties for sale which also feature treehouses including this one pictured right at Blakeney, Gloucestershire, which costs £350,000 and includes with a four bedroom cottage.
Other properties with treehouses include:
* Weedon, near Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire – £695,000
* Allens Green, Sawbridgeworth, Hertfordshire – £795,000
* Wellington near Telford, Shropshire
