Seaside absence

Receiving urgent inquiry about my absence from the internet, I realise that I forgot to put a picture of a bucket and spade on the blog to announce my annual fact-finding mission to the eurozone periphery to see for myself the dawning realisation that the euro is going to have to break up.

Anyway, apologies for lack of blogging, or tweeting, are on the Banned List, so I won’t apologise. But I am away, and will be back shortly.

  - traffic chaos in London because of the Olympics
  & there are recurring chestnuts like:
  - petrol to run out in twenty years (first heard circa 1965)
  - euro to collapse within weeks
  - SE England to be concreted over
  - the Independent to close within months
