GDFG 300x298 Something For The Weekend In London: August 3 5We’re a week in and London continues to revel in the excitement that the Olympics has brought to the capital – and it seems that while the games are still on, things to do in the London just keep on getting better. So have fun with this weekend’s picks which include a pop-up cinema inspired by classic cars, an intriguing theatre experience, an Olympic feast plus a weekender dedicated to the fine sport of Ping Pong.

FRIDAY

CINEMA: Art Drive! Pop-up Cinema, Great Eastern Street car park, Shoreditch, EC2A 3ER

How much: FREE

We say: The ICA are headed to East London to present three nights of movie freeness – featuring Drive, Wild Style and Radio On – to mark the exhibit Art Drive! The BMW Art Car Collection 1975-2010 which wraps up this weekend. Arrive before 9pm as spaces are first come, first served!

THEATRE: Bush Bazaar at Bush Theatre, 7 Uxbridge Road, W12 8LJ

ARTS & CULTURE: Another London at Tate Britain, Millbank, London SW1p 4RG
