iBet: Everton’s strong start makes them bet material

Back Everton to win the Premier League ‘without the Big Six’ at 6/4
Everton’s defeat against West Brom gives us the opportunity to back them to win the Premier League ‘without the big six’ at a decent price. I have already got involved pre-season at 11/4, but the 6/4 on offer from Paddy Power and BetVictor still looks like bet material to me. Everton’s problem under David Moyes has been that his team has traditionally got off to a poor start and then finished like the proverbial train. This time around it’s two wins from three games and only one defeat in the last 13, and most importantly his charges look powerful and full of confidence. Phil Jagielka, Leighton Baines and Steven Pienaar are playing at the top of their game and in Marouane Fellaine and Nikica Jelavic they have a front line to strike fear into any Premier League outfit, as they showed in their victory against Manchester United. It’s a quality team with players that fight for each other. I actually think Everton will finish above Liverpool (you can get 5/4 on Betfair for them to do so), who are counted as one of the ‘big six’ in this market. Newcastle are already showing the negative affects a European campaign can have on the squad through injuries. Everton have won this market five of the last six seasons and look better than ever this year. It’s hard to see where any other challenge will come from.
Advices
Barcelona are 5/2 favourites for the Champions League following the draw on Friday. Real Madrid have drifted a little to 9/2, and are 4/5 to win their tough group which includes Manchester City, who are 10/1 in the outright market. You can get 10/1 about Manchester United, 16/1 about Bayern Munich and Chelsea, 19/1 Juventus, 20/1 Paris St-Germain and 25/1 about Arsenal.
