“People should be able to understand it”
Anna Soubry, the new Health minister, on the NHS in The Times (pay wall) today:
Where it’s working well, you’ve got to make sure people know. And I’ve said to my team, ‘For God’s sake, I hate frigging jargon — engaging, pathfinders, framework. Don’t use this language.’ It’s everybody’s NHS, people should be able to understand it.
I am always happy to provide hard copies for her team, or she could ask them to download copies of The Banned List.
