iBet: Leeds will be up against it when Everton come to visit

Team news is hard to come by at the time of writing, but David Moyes’ assistant first team coach Jimmy Lumsden (a former Leeds player) has indicated that Everton will field a strong team and if that’s the case, the home team is up against it. Everton have been fantastic in the Premier League so far with emphatic wins over Aston Villa, Manchester United and on Saturday against Swansea – the only blip being a reverse at West Bromwich Albion. They have an absolutely excellent first team with the likes of Fellaini, Baines, Pienaar and Jagielka playing the best football of their careers. The bet is dependent on team news. But the competition represents Everton’s best chance of silverware this season and they fielded a strong side in the previous round when brushing aside Leyton Orient 5-0. Leeds have lost some of their best players and are looking like a mid-Championship side, but they have scored in every game this season and there should be at least two goals.
The USA are a general 8/11 to lift the 2012 Ryder Cup, which gets going this Friday at the Medinah Country Club in Illinois. Europe go off at best priced 8/5 with Stan James and Bet Victor and it’s 11/1 the draw (Bet365). I’ll take a closer look at the betting specials for the event this week.
