Did homosexuality kill off the dinosaurs?
Entries are pouring in for the Questions To Which The Answer Is No competition. The above, number 850 in my series, was submitted by Dom Stapleton. I have been unable to find the source of the image to which he links, so it may be satirical, but the text seems authentically Creationist.
Indeed, there seems to be a religious theme to some of the early entries. Number 851, asked by Slate:
Is Rick Perry’s Sleep Apnea the Work of Satan?
Entry from Kevin.
And number 852, asked by WND (“formerly WorldNetDaily”):
Ark of Covenant Resting Beneath Temple Mount?
Entry from Oliver Kamm (I do worry about his internet browsing habits).
You too could win one of 10 signed copies of my book, Questions to Which the Answer is No. There was an extract from the book in The Independent on Sunday, and a sample is available here. It is a collection of headlines in the form of QTWTAIN.
To enter, post on Twitter a question that you have found, with a link and the hashtag #WINQTWTAIN. Or email it to me at j.rentoul@independent.co.uk. It does not have to be from a newspaper; it does not even have to be a headline; but it does have to be written by someone who implies that the answer is yes when it is not.
