Friday Fives – family friendly hotspots for commuters
Earlier in the week, a report from New Family Investments suggested that – looking at factors such as school scores, childcare provision, crime figures and property affordability – Wokingham is the best location to bring up a family.
What went unreported but is equally interesting is that the same study also looked at commuter towns and picked out the highest scoring postcodes in their figures which were within 15 miles i.e. relatively easy reach of major city centres. Bristol scored particularly well with four entries in the top 11 and here is a selection of homes from each of the top five:
