Friday Fives – homes in Glasgow
House prices in west central Scotland – the most populated area of Scotland which includes the country’s largest city, Glasgow – are £4,000 higher than they were this time last year. Mark Hordern, Chief Executive of the Glasgow Solicitors Property Centre, says the average selling price in the area is now £128,500, up from £124,000 a year ago (though almost 12 per cent below the 2007 peak of £145,000). So for this week’s Friday Fives, we’re focusing on interesting properties in Glasgow.
