A Tory brings specialist knowledge to a road safety committee

Andy McSmith

Congratulations to Councillor Neil Baker, chairman of the Canterbury Conservative Association, on being co-opted by his fellow Tories onto the committee that deals with road safety in Kent. This is the same Neil Baker who smashed up a car last month by driving it off the road and getting it stuck between two trees. He had more than twice the legally permitted level of alcohol in his blood. So there is someone who knows what drunken idiots can do when they are  behind the wheel.
