iBet: World Cup Qualifying, Group H

Montenegro V England, kick off 8pm, ITV1

Lay over 3.5 goals at 3.3/1 with Betfair

Montenegro are preparing a bumpy old pitch for tonight’s crunch encounter at the top of Group H, so don’t be expecting a festival of football. One Montenegrin correspondent has even said that the surface won’t even be up to English Conference standards, with the home side having noted that the tactic worked in England’s 1-1 draw with Poland in October, when the pitch was also very questionable. Even though there are usually goals in England games, if that turns out to be the case it seems very unlikely that we will witness a goal fest here, as it’s going to be tough to get the ball down and play with any fluency. I actually think that England will at least get a draw (you can lay the home side at 4.3/1 on Betfair) but rather than bet on the result, the better value may be to expect less than four goals in the game.

Advices
Sebastian Vettel was outwardly contrite after ignoring team orders to pass his team-mate Webber in the Malaysian Grand Prix. He will be getting a dressing down behind closed doors and in order to improve the icy atmosphere he’s created within the Red Bull team with his actions, he is likely to hand Webber a win if he gets the chance later in the season. Webber is 10-1 to win in the next race in China.
