iBet: Need for points could spell goals at both ends

Gareth Purnell

Leicester V Watford, kick off 7.45pm

Back both teams to score at 1.65 with Betfair
Back Chris Wood to score at any time at 5/4

We have two teams needing a win here but both are in pretty ordinary form. Leicester ended a run of nine games without a win when they triumphed 3-2 over Bolton the game before last, and they are now unbeaten in four. They have dropped just out of the play-off picture, and although seventh in the table, they are way down in 20th in the eight-match form guide. One major plus however is that Chris Wood has returned to scoring ways with three in his last three, and he is a very dangerous striker at this level whose goals tend to come in bunches. After a brilliant January and February Watford have become inconsistent, although they did bounce back to form with a 4-0 home win against Blackburn last Saturday. They are third in the table but 18th in the eight-match form guide, and they also need three points in their quest to try and catch Hull for the second automatic promotion spot. The Hornets are also the division’s top scorers away from home while only Crystal Palace have scored more at home than Leicester. It has the feel of a game with a few goals.

Advices
Bayern were our 7/2 pick for the Champions League before the first semi final legs and they are now in to 4/6 after a brilliant performance against Barcelona. Dortmund are 2/1, Real Madrid 12/1 and Barcelona as big as 40/1 in places.
