Adam Deacon

Adam Deacon is a British actor, writer, director and rapper from Hackney, East London. He first started acting at the age of 12 and trained at the Anna Scher Theatre. He rose to fame with his lead role in Kidulthood in 2003 and went on to co-write, co-direct and star in Anuvahood. In 2012 he was the winner of the BAFTA Rising Star Award.

It’s been an amazing year. And my fan base has really made a lot of this happen for me. They came out for all the films at the start of my career. And they came out for Anuvahood and they were the ones that made that film a success. And then with the BAFTA nomination, people’s vote showed their support.
