Sitting in the sparsely furnished tent that is now home to Tasnim, four of her siblings, her mother Rawa and uncle Kindeh since fleeing Syria less than a month ago, Tasnim fixes me with an intense stare and explains she wants me to hear her “1 million per cent true” story of surviving the massacre at Ghouta on the night of 21 August 2013, the chemical attack that shocked the world.
