Le Caprice, an institution among well-heeled personalities and the monied masses of London’s St James’s, celebrated its 30th birthday last night. To celebrate, the restaurant called in Marc Almond, formerly of Soft Cell, to perform Tainted Love, which reached the top of the charts around the time that the restaurant was born. Also there was the inimitable Joan Collins, pictured, who, in keeping with the 80s theme, brought some of her very fiercest shoulder pads.
