Paul is the Executive Coordinator of the WSNet. He is an ex-GB International and Olympian with a passion for women’s sport and a background in International Corporate Communications. From sponsoring OUWBC Crew 1994/97 to setting up grass roots U9/10 Community Lacrosse in 2008, he has learnt the empowering confidence sport/fitness offers. His vision for the WSNet to link up the 11 million women who want to try sport/fitness with the thousands of events being run by NGBs, club & fitness centres across the country.

There needs to a greater focus on women’s sport on TV

Rugby, cricket, football all have one. There’s even one now dedicated to Formula 1 for those testosterone-fuelled afternoons on the TV couch – I am of course talking about sports channels. So where do the 11 million women (and men – yes men do want to watch women’s sport) who want to engage in more sport point the remote control?
