Last down the catwalk at Giorgio Armani: flamenco inspired dresses, some complete with mantilla lace shawls.

Flamenco-inspired? I don't think so. It might sound good to designers who've never seen a genuine flamenco outfit in their lives but it just makes them look ignorant when they pretend like this.
they're just running out of ideas so they keep on re-hashing every decade and then moving onto every ethnic look under the sun. People who live and work in this industry are shallow and stupid albeit greedy little monsters - it does not take much to keep them happy even if it is a pretend flamenco dress. Look at Victoria Beckham and her friends sitting on the front row of these shows- it is laughable yet dangerous - these are the richest people in the world spending thousands on stupid flamenco dresses.
