We know all about Batman and Iron Man and The Incredible Hulk, but there are some more obscure comic book adaptations on their way next year, which hardcore fans are anticipating with even greater fervour.
The website for The Spirit, directed by Frank Miller in Sin City style from the classic character created by Will Eisner, recently added this alluring "spidget". I'm hoping that in nine days time it will magically turn into a teaser trailer.
Production on Zach Snyder's Watchmen has wrapped, and the first photos of the characters were published last month - even though the film's release is a year away. It has, after all, been a whole 20 years in the making.
In other comic book movie news, there's a cracking new clip from Iron Man and this new trailer for Guillermo Del Toro's Hellboy II: The Golden Army (which thankfully doesn't seem to feature the spurious human lead character of the original):

awaiting the spirit trailer...
