A new Incredible Hulk trailer has dropped, which explains some of the premise of the film; it's a sequel to the Ang Lee version by any other name. This clip makes the mouth water more than the teaser did, but I'd still make it the favourite to flop of this summer's superhero flicks.
Read my preview of the biggest films this blockbuster season here, and let us know which one you're most looking forward to. Old veterans Indiana Jones and Batman are making the early running.

Hulk is always gonna be a tricky deal, as everybody has their own idea of the big green bogie... Some know the comic origins, some only the TV, and are convinced that a painted steroid junkie will be more authentic than the CGI... but we are talking about pure fantasy here, so there are NO limits. It's all about explosions and face offs, and this one seems to have that in abundance... The CGI is not really doing it for me, it's just like a computer Game... and the schmaltz factor with Betty will try to sway the Norton fans to go to it... he does seem better for Banner than Bana, but Bana didn't have a chance to do anything except be restrained.
Ang Lee's movie had real vision and was daring for a comic book adaptation... but missed markets both teen and adult. Too deep and brooding for kids, too silly for adults... The Hulk himself was created by ILM crew, and was more convincing than this Hulk... I liked it, but my main problem, as with all these movies, is... they are TOO long!!!!! You can't present a comic book movie like some Spartacus style Epic. 90 mins is fine for plot/FX/stunts/ and the climax...
On the whole I'd say you either dig big green bogies, men running about with pointy hats and capes, or clad in Iron, or Hellboys, all laying Carnage to cities for the supposed greater good, then fine... if you wanna go watch Kira and the pout squad, then fine... to each his own. I'm glad I have a young Nephew to cart around to the cinema this summer and see all these, cause it's all just entertainment, escapism, pure fantasy, which is what the Cinematic experience is allll about.
But I have my favorite and always will... I used to watch him on a Saturday afternoon, then rip up my Tshirt and jeans, go out into the street and make a terrible show of myself... and my Nephew had better not talk during the movie, or he might make me angry...

Hope this flick is good. Hulk was one of my favorite heroes as a kid and I'd like to see the silver screen do him justice.
Not sure we'll EVER think a 9 ft tall super-muscled green guy with huge hands and feet will ever look "real"...but as long as the FX are decent I'll suspend my disbelief.
For some reason people want to hate this movie and are waiting for it to flop. With the marketing on it....can't say I blame them. Then again, there's still a month to go before it opens....plenty of time to promote it...which I expect to see heavy after Indy 4 comes out.
