David Cameron's recent declaration that politics is "a bit like Tomb Raider" was an unexpected piece of welcome publicity for the latest instalment of Lara Croft's adventures, due to be released in November.
Dave's comparison, made in an interview with the Guardian, might be a great PR ploy, portraying the Tory leader as down with the 'yoof'. In fact, could Cameron be the first leader to aim directly for the gamers' vote?
The makers of the game, Eidos, have been quick to react - in a statement on Friday they invited Cameron to have a sneak peak at the game, "so he can see for himself how the series has evolved - and maybe come up with some high definition political parallels."
However, they're making sure they won't be accused of any political bias - they've also invited Gordon Brown and Nick Clegg, "provided they all sit together nicely." Sadly, no news on whether any of them have taken up the offer.
