A slew of restaurants have started running half-price vouchers during the credit crunch, a bit like those money-off coupons circulated by retailers at Christmas. Some big names are involved: Strada, Wagamama, Gourmet Burger Kitchen, Giraffe etc.
reOf course, there are a few catches. They're all chain restaurants (and who can beat a one-off place with character?), the two for one deals generally exclude drink and there are sometimes restrictions on branches, times etc. But even so, you can get a good deal.
