I don't know what to make of the very disturbing trend of women selling their virginity online. Are these girls serious, or is it some kind of crazy publicity stunt?
First there was Raffella Fico, the beautiful bikini model from Italian Big Brother, who despite claiming to be a devout Catholic promised to sell herself for 1 million Euros. Now, US Women's Studies major Natalie Dylan wants a cool $1 million to pay off her university tuition bills. But there's a twist: She claims that she has to have 'chemistry' with the suitor, and all interested parties have to pass through an interview process. I find the auction process seriously creepy. On the other hand, I wonder if I'm being a bit hypocritical; I'm not sure how many women would turn down one million dollars to have sex with someone they found attractive (assuming the whole world wasn't watching?)

Prostitution is a very old business--why show surprise now that, we are in a world of anything goes? Didn't Caligula realise this, when he took taxes from payments by citizens, to the "Ladies" of the senators of Rome for their services? They were not virgins of course, but it's the Gucci level of sex, which is attractive, isn't it? BTW how does one detect whether, one is a virgin or not? I suspect there may be a rich seam in medical surgery here.

Who would want to sleep with a virgin anyway? If you're paying $1m you're going to want an expert...

Yes you are being hypocritical - I bet you wouldn't turn down 1 million dollars to do it. Besides, you've boasted about so many one-night stands that one where you get paid for it wouldn't make a difference, would it?

virginity is nothing if your heart is the heart of a hustler male or female

What about equality? Can't men earn that kind of money too?
