Good day! A very good day in fact, because I'm going to introduce you to these vintage shoe clips. Look left - red bows. Look right - red bows on shoes; shoes transformed.
Shopping Bag, for one, became a fan the second she saw this idea. It works, you see, because there's something unspeakably cool about casually clipping on a vintage something or other and 'customising' (I use this word very loosely here) the possessions you already own. It's all very now, what with no-one having any money to spend frivolously and also with 'vintage ' automatically connoting the hippest of hip. Win-win on all fronts.
If red bows are not your thing, fear not, because Erica Weiner has more than one option available. BTW you might recognize the name from another post of mine (who was paying attention?) She's actually a New York based jewellery designer with very cool bug-themed products. Who knows why she's branching into shoes? Who cares - she's free to do whatever she wants, especially when it benefits people like us.
Back to the options. As well as red bows, there are rosettes, in blue or white. View the blue versions on the right, and note the shoes transformed on the left.
These transformative accoutrements are newly available from a web-shop I really like called The Shop Floor Project (I pointed you in that direction at the beginning of the summer - they frequently have interesting exhibitions). They're only £16.50 each, which I think is eminently reasonable.
It is fitting that I write about TSFP actually, because it has been open for two years to this very day. So what, the churlish amongst you might say, we've all been on the planet for just as long. Well, a) it's nice to celebrate a birthday especially if it's a small one and b) it's much nicer when you celebrate with £10 off purchases of £50 and over. Ah ha. They're offering this until Monday. So I've just tipped you off (AGAIN) with the chance to pick up a bargain. If I were you, I'd gather up many of these shoe-customizers, get £10 off, and have presents sorted out from here to eternity. Just a thought. Ciao.

These Shoe Clips are really cool. It really change the look of the shoes. A simple shoes can look even like great designer shoes. It is also a very good option to customize shoes according to the dress color.
Thanks for this post.

Why not try the fair trade bags…it is working to bring positive change. Indulge yourself into some noble cause as it is an inspired way of raising money for Action Aids HIV/AIDS campaign. Fair trade bags are not just the latest fashion accessory, but they are manufactured from recycled wire and bottle tops with their eye-catching, deconstructed image.
