Having previously worked in Dublin and New York, Larry Ryan joined The Independent's website in November 2007. He has written for Dazed & Confused, The Irish Times and Mongrel magazine, covering events as diverse as the 2005 G8 Summit in Gleneagles and LebowskiFest '06 at a bowling alley in Queens. He once watched the same film every day for a month (Supersize Me since you ask) for an article and hopes to bring the same zeal to trawling the interweb in search of nuggets for The Life Browser. He wears thick glasses and talks slowly, traits which people occasionally mistake for signs of intelligence. Ireland's highest paid TV personality once branded him a "low life"; this is an accurate description.
