Danielle Scutt's collection was a resurrection of bad taste clothes, paradoxically done in the best possible taste. Working to a Las Vegas theme, Scutt gave us peek-a-boo polyester dresses, cartoon print t-shirts and denim separates, on models who wore elaborate headscarves atop their teetering coiffures. The great and the glamorous gathered last night in Wapping's former

Saloon showgirl met art deco vamp at Emma Cook's show yesterday, where
she gave us her signature tiered and fringed frocks, as well as
overwhelming, ultra-violet and iridescent textured dresses and
photographic print shifts. The collection was inspired mainly by circus
and safari, the designer told us backstage, and this was apparent in
the embellished clay-coloured macs and dresses, as well as the
transparent, glittery raincoats.
