More on McCain
Last week, I pointed out that Obama was getting his fair share of musical tributes on YouTube. Earlier today, I blogged about the renewed concentration on McCain's views on Iraq and Iran in light of the fact that he will be the Republican's man come the Presidential run off in November. Now, the two posts have collided rather conveniently, with this YouTube effort:
So why have the Democratic guns turned on McCain already? Well, his strong stance on Iraq (the prospect of having troops there for 10,000 years hasn't gone down well in some quarters) combined with the fact that many on the left are petrified that he could win, as our columnist Johann Hari has pointed out.

McCain is a sick man. And I mean really sick. He would not make it through. No way !

Yes, McCain is sick. He has skin cancer. Whether he would survive 4 years in the White House is a legitimate question. He will have to have a very good Vice Presidential candidate running with him.

Hari's article is brilliant. More blog posts from him please!

Let's remember that Johann Hari was one of the most fervent supporters of bombing Iraq. It was only when he realised he'd been played for a sap that he sheepishly stopped writing about this, although he's never admitted his mistake or his culpability - as a columnist in a national newspaper - in the hundreds of thousands of deaths he bayed for.
