It seems to me that the 'Independent' seems to be gradually winding this site down, first the main threads got discontinued, then the side posts started to get fewer and more parochial. I fully expect this site to be discontinued in the near future, 'lack of interest' will probably be cited as the reason. Only a few months ago this site was a fairly lively discussion forum, evidence that free speech was still alive in this country. Now its practically deserted, even the recent comments list no longer updates.
