Federer and Nadal on easy street
Top seeds Rafa Nadal, Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic have all cruised into the quarter-finals of the Sony Ericsson Open with straight-sets victories.
Federer made short work of the Belgian Olivier Rochus on Tuesday evening, winning 6-3, 6-1 in just 52 minutes, and faces Frenchman Gilles Simon next. Nadal, who is scheduled to play Federer in the semi-finals, had a similarly easy match, breezing past Ukrainian Alexandr Dolgopolov 6-1, 6-2. The world No 1 will meet Czech opponent Tomas Berdych in the quarter-finals.
Djokovic remains unbeaten this year, chalking up 21 successive wins, and that record was never in danger against fellow Serb Viktor Troicki in a straightforward 6-3, 6-2 win.
