It’s heating up in the choir room this week – everyone is fighting and getting their anger out through song.
This week’s theme for the Glee club is ‘movies’. I thought we had covered this quite extensively over the past four seasons, but there’s never been an episode dedicated to this particularly.
The big day is coming up, and Emma (Jayma Mays) is still panicking about her wedding day. We see her anxiety and OCD manifest itself in obsessively clean habits which see her furiously scrubbing everything in the school. Will (Matthew Morrison) doesn’t have time to help her organise everything for the wedding, so she’s left to her own devices.
Fans of Glee will be familiar with the show’s divas – and the fight between the members of New Directions to be the biggest and most dramatic diva.
The Warblers have been disqualified, leaving New Directions the winners of sectionals. It’s a bit strange, given that New Directions were disqualified and there was another show choir performing that weren’t disqualified at all.

Holiday reunions are great, aren’t they? Until you realise why you went away in the first place.
Dynamic Duets follows the pattern of previous seasons – it’s the 7th episode and the songs are all duets. Past seasons have seen some knock-out duets between characters and this episode – while not the best – is no exception.
Following on from last week’s auditions and castings, this week is Grease themed. It’s school musical time, and as one of the most memorable, well-known, well-loved musicals, Grease is the perfect choice for the producers to try and get those ratings up.
