What television programme would you watch before the end of the world?
Today could have been the end of the world as we know it… which would have been a right pain in the behind when you consider this weekend sees the finale of both Homeland AND Merlin. Those Mayans certainly pick their moments to predict an Armageddon.

Don’t kid yourself Scotland, you still need the BBC
This week the Scottish Labour Party suggested that if Scotland gains independence it will lose the BBC. Despite the popular belief that politicians don’t know what voters really care about, it appears that for once they might actually be onto something.

One of the nice things about supporting a football club outside the Premier League is you feel you have somewhere to go. In an upward sense, I mean. Glories still to aspire to, many rungs of the ladder still to climb, huge strides still to be, erm, stridden.
