An enjoyable “tie up loose ends” episode – although some may have hoped for more.
The transparency of men – and the subterfuge of women.
A mixed episode this. In the first half things go frantically wrong, as some key characters discover more than they would like about the other folk around them. Great fun to watch, whilst safe in the knowledge we viewers would never be so stupidly open about our own private affairs.
What a tangled web we weave…
One wedding and a birth already, and the tally will surely rise.
Would Scott and Bailey survive without its police procedures, or Doc Martin without solving any medical cases?
The opening titles squeal ‘Never Can Say Goodbye…’. Oh Lord how I wish I could heave this series off the edge of a broadcasting cliff. I know, I know: “Stop watching then!” But readers! I have agreed to write this blog for all six episodes. I have been tied to a chair and pointed my gaping eyes at this horror-show! What can I do?
