It’s been an amazing year. And my fan base has really made a lot of this happen for me. They came out for all the films at the start of my career. And they came out for Anuvahood and they were the ones that made that film a success. And then with the BAFTA nomination, people’s vote showed their support.
We’ve all had that horrible moment when you’re in the cinema, you’ve scoped out the best view, snuggled down in your seat and started to get lost in the trailers when, “Da la la laa, da la la laa, da la la la laaa!” ( That’s meant to be a ringtone, not Tinky Winky pirouetting before the screen, although both would undoubtedly disturb your movie-going experience).
