Every year, it seems there are more and more new festivals popping up and attempting to outdo one another with the biggest line-ups, with huge corporate backing and increasingly expensive tickets.

Isn’t it time we looked into the laws around ticket touting?

Now, I’m aware there are more pressing issues to be concerning ourselves with, but in these rocky economic times where we’re all having to cut back on spending and cherish the entertainment we can afford to splash out on, it shouldn’t be a given that we have to be wary of getting ripped off.
