Glasgow’s techno legends Slam speak ahead of their return to London
Slam are without a doubt legends within Scotland’s small but influential techno scene, having been around for over two decades now. Later this month they will play a very rare three-hour set for London event Motek. Ahead of that special night I caught up with one half of the duo, Orde Meikle to get the lowdown on what they’ve been up to recently.

Motek’s creators speak about their intimate London shindigs
One of the few resolutions I made this year was to try and avoid larger club nights in favour of smaller, more niche promotions. Mainly because larger nights seem to be attracting the wrong kind of crowd, whereas smaller nights have quite a cult following which gives the parties a more intimate, friendlier atmosphere.
