Why, oh why would a woman choose to grow a moustache? This was the question that passed through my mind in the moments following my discovery of Siobhan Fletcher, a 36-year-old taking part in “Movember”.

Whether you greet the month now universally know as ‘Movember’ with a sigh at all the hipsters sporting gregarious face-ferrets, or whether the prospect of being able to curate your very own little furry caterpillar on your upper lip fills you with joy, there are several events taking place this month that are a lot of fun regardless of whether you’re into facial fuzz or not.
