Venues in London
If the Nollywood celebrations and Singaporean-style night market don’t get you out and about this wonderfully eclectic weekend, then we reckon the new Hip Hop’N’Bowl night, the return of the Experimental Food Society or a glimpse into a post-apocalyptic world might just do the trick…

It’s time for autumnal adventures in fine cuisine, stunning art and quirky exhibitions this weekend as we welcome a brand new show of work from famed fashion photographer Richard Avedon, enjoy plenty of Mexican delights in Hampstead and celebrate the musical legacy of Carnaby Street.
The heat is on in more ways than one this weekend – French and Mexican festivities will guarantee your cultural fix, while cross-continental urban art, an event for sporting chaps and a new alfresco restaurant in the city ensures the next three days will be as brilliant as they can be.
London, you are looking kind of glorious right now! So for the weekend we’re keen to head outdoors at the London Zoo Lates which has returned for 2013, enjoy cocktails and tacos at the new Casa Negra in Shoreditch and wind down at a double-bill of Daft Punk movies which I’m sure will move our feet and blow our minds.
We love London for its multiculturalism, so we’re all about that cross-cultural life this weekend by way of a Ghanaian pop-up in Islington, an Indian Arrival celebration at the V&A, an exhibition of stunning African portraits and a global selection of indie flicks at a three-day fest at the Roxy. No passport required.
It’s the return of the three-day weekend which means the chance to get up to everything 72 hours just can’t handle – so we’ve penciled in Breakin’ Convention, a street fest in East, Roof top cinema and the long awaited re-opening of the Serpentine Lido (because this weekend’s gonna be a scorcher!)
Graphic arts, pre-Cinco de Mayo and a ping pong party to top all ping pong parties is just some of the awesomeness taking place this weekend
This weekend we’ve rounded up a pair of festivals, a homage to H2O, a photography workshop and a hip creperie in Shoreditch that could be the one for your Friday night. Plus, we’ve discovered a French trend sweeping into town for all you cool-hunting foodies out there – frunch anyone?
Underground hip-hop, Asian indie flicks and good eats galore are just some of the fun times these next few days have in store, while you can also celebrate women (and your mamas!) thanks to the awesome International Women’s Day (Friday) and Mothering Sunday. No guesses as to what will be the soundtrack to our weekend, then…
How should you spend the last weekend of February in the capital? How about hitting up Lunchtime Disco at its new locale, learning loads about Bangladeshi culture at the Bargehouse, indulging in another fried chicken pop-up and maybe heading to Covent Garden to discover why nostalgic poster art simply rocks.
