Facebook stock up following positive third quarter earnings
Things are looking up for Facebook after a small but significant improvement in its previous quarter earnings pushed up its stock price up by 19 per cent by the close of business yesterday.

Facebook have started testing mobile advertising for sites and app, but rather than clutter up the Facebook experience, they plan to offer ads to third parties instead. Taking on Google at their own game with a little help from the social graph.
